Inspired by the Edwardian-era portraits of long-haired women, this photo zine reimagines their timeless beauty in a contemporary setting.

Just as women of the early 20th century took pride in their flowing locks, our modern-day Rapunzels embrace their unique beauty amidst the backdrop of urban life.

Through striking imagery and intimate storytelling, this collection captures the essence of self-expression and individuality, proving that beauty—whether classic or unconventional—always finds its place in the world. We asked our princesses what long hair means to them: do they see long hair as form of armour? Do they have stories about their long locks?

And just like a fairytale, some of what they say is true and some might be a myth.
